Social Media is powerful.
Social Media Marketing can get you A LOT of leads.
I mean 100s or 1000s this year alone. If you had an extra 250 leads this year.
And these leads knew you, knew your business, and were warm and hot...
How would that change your business?
One of the biggest problems people have with Social Media is creating an effective campaign.
It's not hard if you understand the steps needed to create an effective Social Media Marketing Campaign.
Let's break it down and show you how to set up an effective Social Media Marketing Campaign in just a few steps.
What is your objective?
This is something a lot of people overlook when they are making posts and content.
For example, my objective is to capture information. My objective is to send people to my groups, my site(right here), or get them interested and coming into my inbox.
Maybe you don't have groups set up or a website to capture leads. That's fine.
Then your objective is awareness and to brand yourself as an authority in your niche and with what you sell.
What does your audience really want to see?
I have spent over 20 hours just talking to my audience on the phone and getting to know them.
What are their likes, dislikes, wants, family status, etc? All of this is very important if you want to create valuable content your audience will use.
My audience is Sales Professionals from all walks of life- Real Estate, Insurance, Cell Phones, Automotive, Digital Entrepreneur...
They all have some things in common though.
They all want more leads for their business and that's why I focus on creating content for marketing and lead generation.
Where can people see my content?
Social Media Marketing Campaigns should include multiple platforms.
You have Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the list goes on and on.
Each platform will have a difference audience, different user, and different means to communicate with each person.
Think about how you can cater and differ the content for each platform.
Twitter you won't be able to create long pieces but you can drive traffic. Instagram you can target new traffic with the right hashtags, an effective headline, and a catchy photo.
YouTube is all about video and having a long piece of text will be pointless.
You can still use content across all the different platforms by understanding how to each platform works and by making some minor tweaks to the content and strategy.
How can I cross promote and reach new eyes and capture more information?
If you look at my blog posts you'll see that I drive traffic off of my blog.
My YouTube content will normally give viewers an invitation to connect on Facebook in one of my groups.
My podcast tells people to come to my site and check it out. I even go a step further by asking people to share the content with a co-worker as a thanks if they like it.
Everything from each various platform is geared towards connecting with a user on multiple platforms and becoming omnipresent. I want them to see me everywhere and to like, engage, and become raving fans of #theHUFF.
What content can I re-use and leverage?
My podcast can be recorded on video and launched as an audio podcast on iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spreaker, Spotify and all the other places the Sales Talk Uncensored Podcast is as well as YouTube and Facebook.(<<<Example of step 4)
When I record my #DrivingWithDavid videos for Facebook I can re-post that content to YouTube and pull the audio and use it on a podcast.
Even my coaching calls I do with clients I will records and edit them and release as a Podcast episode or another piece of content.
The name of the game is bi-products and leverage.
How can I create the most content and leverage my time and position the most?
Understanding these 5 steps can change your experience on Social Media and can help you create an effective Social Media Marketing Campaign in no time at all.
